Just connect the Chromatoprobe adapter to the inlet! In addition, because sensitivity is not a problem when you are analyzing micro grams of sample the inlet is place in a high split mode. As a result the entire system remains clean – even the ion source! Unlike a Direct Insertion Probe (DIP) that would otherwise dirty the ion source, analyzer and multiplier. With Chromatoprobe the sample is desorbed in the inlet NOT in the ion source! Chromatoprobe is an ideal replacement for a DI Probe.
