Extremely high-throughput SIFT-MS provides unique opportunities for comprehensive sample analysis because of ingenious application of direct, ultra-soft chemical ionization. Headspace and gas samples containing chromatographically challenging compounds, such as ammonia, formaldehyde, hydrogen chloride, and hydrogen sulfide, can be analyzed with a throughput in excess of 100 samples per hour using automated SIFT-MS.

Dr. Barry Prince,

Dr Barry Prince manages Syft’s international sales department, which is responsible for both direct sales efforts and supporting Syft’s extensive distributor network. Barry graduated from the University of Canterbury with a Ph.D. in Laser Spectroscopy prior to taking up research fellowships at the University of Wisconsin and Australian National University. He joined the design and development team at Syft Technologies in early 2004. In his current role as Director of Global Sales, Barry works closely with Industry, academia, and government throughout the world promoting the benefits of SIFT-MS for real-time ultra-sensitive chemical analysis.

Mark graduated from the University of Southampton with a PhD in electrochemistry. He was a senior analyst at the Malaysian Rubber Board’s UK research centre, before joining Anatune in 2015. He will introduce SIFT-MS applications that both simplify testing and improve productivity based on the rapid, direct analysis provided by SIFT-MS.
