Our Pyrolysis GC/MS training program enables users to learn the principals of pyrolysis and how it amplifies the analytical power of gas chromatography. Trainees will learn how the pyrolyzer works, and get a comprehensive overview of its various modes of operation. Get a better understanding of the different ways to collect data on the pyrolyzer, starting with evolved gas analysis (EGA) and building to flash pyrolysis, thermal desorption, and other techniques. Users can also learn how to use Frontier columns and the range of accessories, including the Vent-Free MS adapter, Cryo-Trap, carrier gas selector and selective sampler. We can help trainees increase their comfort level running samples on the Frontier multi-mode pyrolyzer. This includes creating methods in the control software and GC acquisition software. Trainees will understand best practices when it comes to instrument maintenance, include the inlet and Auto-Shot sampler. Comprehensive training on F-Search is also an area that can be covered, which is essential for creating and searching libraries to characterize samples.
