Frontier Selective Sampler is a device that introduces components of any temperature zone in an EGA thermogram obtained by a multi-shot pyrolyzer or thermogravimetric analyzer (TG) into a separation column. By employing a flow path switching mechanism that utilizes the pressure difference between purge gas and carrier gas without using mechanical valves, a flow path system with no contamination or adsorption of polar compounds has been achieved with no dead space or cooling points .
The Frontier SS-2010E includes support for a wide range of power supplies from 100V to 240V. In addition, the flow of carrier gas is displayed on the front panel of the flow controller.
Heart-cutting desired peaks:
With the Frontier selective sampler, any set of peaks in an evolved gas curve can be heart-cut. The components can then be introduced into a capillary column for a specific analysis, allowing significant reduction of time required for analysis.
New Flow Switching System:
An inlet adaptor with a flow path switching system utilizing pressure difference of carrier gas has been employed.
The flow path is made of deactivated Ultra ALLOY® capillary tube having no dead volume or cold spots.
Simple Construction with Easy Installation:
The installation is simple and easy. Just attach a selective sampler adaptor (SS adapter) to the split/splitless inlet.
