Carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen and sulfur are the basic elements of living nature. Their quantitative determination in the most versatile combinations of substances is the origin and essence of the Elementar product portfolio.
Analyzers for Organic Elemental Analysis, manufactured by Elementar, are designed to offer industry-leading versatility in elemental analysis. Based on proprietary Advanced Purge and Trap (APT) technology, even the most challenging C : N elemental ratios of up to 12000 : 1 can be reliably measured. Optional conversion kits make it possible to upgrade every instrument at any time for special applications.
Micro combustion analysis has never been easier. The UNICUBE analyzer is designed for the elemental CHNS analysis of carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, and sulfur. UNICUBE combines the low costs and the sensitivity of a micro elemental analyzer with the flexibility and outstanding robustness of a macro analyzer.
vario EL cube
Semi-micro and micro-analyzer combined in one unit. The vario EL cube elemental CHNOS analyzer. The instrument can determine samples with even the most challenging C / N elemental ratios of up to 12000 :1 with highest accuracy. This is achieved through its patented Advanced Purge and Trap technology. From pharmaceuticals in the low microgram range to soil samples in the three-digit milligram range – vario EL cube will perfectly fit all your needs in elemental analysis.
Solution for ASTM: D5291
vario MACRO cube
There is only one macro analyzer available for simultaneous, one-sample CHNS determination on the market. The vario MACRO cube is designed to offer industry-leading versatility in elemental analysis. No add-on modules or extra furnaces are required for sulfur analysis. Four elements from just one sample. The instrument is capable of measuring samples with even the most challenging C / N elemental ratios of up to 7000 : 1. This is achieved thanks to the Advanced Purge and Trap technology. The vario MACRO cube addresses all customer needs with macro sample volumes and weights.
vario MAX cube
Maximum performance on a micro footprint. The vario MAX cube is the most innovative elemental analyzer that incorporates automated ash removal technology. Designed for 24 / 7 operation, the instrument addresses the needs of any high-throughput laboratory facing larger sample weights and significant ash content. Customers can now rely on unattended overnight operation of such applications to maximize sample throughput and increase laboratory efficiency.
rapid CS cube
High precision carbon and sulfur analysis. The rapid CS cube is designed for fast, automated analysis of carbon and sulfur in coal, coke or biomass. Its outstanding sensitivity (LOD 2 ppm S in coal) makes it a universal instrument for all samples in this application area. Using tin foil to wrap the samples avoids dust formation and contamination in the analyzer. Thus, customers can enjoy outstanding low maintenance efforts and highest possible instrument uptime.
Solution for ATSM: D1552, D4239
rapid OXY cube
Oxygen analysis has never been more reliable. Precise oxygen analysis does not have to be complicated. The new rapid OXY cube perfectly adapts to your analytical demands in oxygen concentration measurement. With our patented backflush technology, you no longer have to worry about distortion of your analytical results through interfering gases. The new rapid OXY cube combines highest accuracy with unmatched operating comfort and great robustness.
Solution for ASTM: D5622
trace SN cube
World’s most sensitive combustion analyzer for sulfur and nitrogen in petrochemicals and related samples. The catalyst-supported digestion technology ensures complete digestion of all kinds of samples without soot formation or insufficient recovery. The sample is always injected directly into the combustion tube, there is no need for time-consuming boat inlet feeding. Thus, the analysis time is just 3-5 minutes, depending on sample type. The trace SN cube works as two analyzers in one box. The sample is injected twice in different combustion tubes which allows the specific optimization of the oxidation process for each element. Can also be configured for trace Chlorine analysis.
Solution for ASTM: D4629, D5453, D6667, D7183, D7184
