Daniel Milligan, Ph.D.

Daniel Milligan has a PhD in Physical Chemistry centered around ion-molecule chemistry and 20 years of SIFT experience. His PhD at the University of Canterbury, in Christchurch New Zealand included the design and build of a pioneering SIFT-MS instrument. Following this he went on to do a CalTech Postdoc at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory before returning to New Zealand to join Syft’s development team. He now heads this team and focusses on further extending the capabilities of SIFT-MS.

Barry joined Syft in 2004, after completing his Ph.D. in Chemistry and postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and the Australian National University. As Director – Global Sales, Barry works closely with Syft’s distributors throughout the world, promoting the benefits of SIFT-MS for real-time ultra-sensitive chemical analysis to industry, research, education and government.
